内閣府地方創生推進室は、 地方創生分野における日本の「SDGsモデル」を構築するため、自治体によるSDGsの達成に向けた優れた取組を提案する都市について、全国から「SDGs未来都市」を選定しています。
5月20日、内閣府は令和５年度の「SDGs未来都市」の選定結果について公表しました。
全国から新たに28都市のSDGs未来都市が誕生しており、九州・沖縄地域からは5都市うち1件が「自治体SDGsモデル事業」として選出されました。
